Second workshop with partners of the Nature Conservation Programme in Macedonia was held

On 4th and 5th of December in hotel “Manastir” in Berovo second workshop with partners of Nature Conservation Programme in Macedonia was held. The main goal of the workshop was to give overview of the first year Programme implementation and to use this workshop as a tool for monitoring and evaluation of the Progamme. Despite members of Project Coordination Team of Nature Conservation Programme in Macedonia from Farmahem and HELVETAS Swiss Intercooperation, representatives of the Programme partners took participation on the workshop: Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning, Agency of Physical Planning, Center for development of East Planning Region and Faculty of Forestry in Skopje, as well as representative of the donor Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC).

Project Coordination Team members and representatives of project partners presented results achieved in the first year of the Programme implementation; Programme implementation and coordination process was also analyzed. Draft results of the Assessment of awareness level about nature conservation as well as of knowledge on the Nature Conservation Programme in Macedonia in the Bregalnica River Basin were presented on the workshop and also activities planned for 2014
