The objective of the project is to promote the use of renewable energy through energy efficiency measures in order to have better environment in the municipality of Cheshinovo-Obleshevo. Local media and web-portals were well-informed about all the activities implemented within the foreseen timeframe (from January to June 2015) in coordination with the kindergarten Dsvezdichki from Cheshinovo and the Sustainable Development Movement (SDM) Kochani.
Activities implemented within the project:
The water heating system became functional in the beginning of May and the contractor trained all employees in the kindergarten on how to use the system. In addition, a Report on Energy Efficiency was prepared for the facility.
The first workshop took place on 14.05.2015, under the title: Benefits from solar energy and other types of alternative sources of energy. It was held in the premises of the kindergarten Dsvezdichki – Cheshinovo attended by the children and their parents from the municipality Cheshinovo-Obleshevo. They learned about the benefits of solar energy and other types of alternative sources of energy. At the last workshop that took place on 04.06.2015 in the primary school Strasho Pindzur in Cheshinovo, learners in the municipality of Cheshinovo-Obleshevo were familiarized with the possibilities and the power of solar energy and of other alternative sources of energy, through presentations and practical development of models that use solar energy.
