On 16 and 17 December, Manastir Hotel in Berovo hosted the 4th workshop with partners of the Nature Conservation Programme in Macedonia with the aim of sharing the experiences from the third year of implementation of the Programme and providing guidelines on actions to be taken next year. Apart from the Project Coordination Team of the Programme, the workshop was attended by representatives of the Programme partners: the Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning, the Spatial Planning Agency, the Centre for Development of the East Planning Region and the Faculty of Forestry – Skopje, as well as representatives of the donor – the Swiss Embassy in Macedonia.
The Project Coordination Team, as well as the partners of the Programme, presented the results achieved in the third year of implementation of the Programme and analysed the process of implementation and coordination of the Programme, as well as the activities planned for 2016.
The attendees of the workshop expressed their satisfaction with the progress of implementation of the planned activities for 2015, having regard to the fact that, in comparison with previous years, the dynamics and scope of implementation were the biggest. The cooperation between the Project Coordination Team and the project partners has increased to a higher level, and as a result thereof, activities are implemented at a higher dynamics.
The activities envisaged for the first phase of implementation of the Programme, including the promotional activities about the results and concrete visible actions, should be finalised during next year.
