Meetings of Programme team with main stakeholders of Nature Conservation Programme in Macedonia

In the period of December 2011 and January 2012, National Team Leader together with the two experts from the Nature Conservation Programme in Macedonia held meetings with the main stakeholders of this Programme. There were several meetings with representatives of the Municipalities: Berovo, Pehcevo, Karbinci, Cheshinovo – Obleshevo, Kochani, Zrnovci, Vinica, Makedonska Kamenica, Delchevo, Shtip and Probishtip. Also, meetings were held with representatives of: Centre for Development of East Planning Region, Agency of Spatial Planning, Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Economy, Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning, civil society “OXO”, Macedonian Ecology Society, Faculty of Forestry in Skopje and with the representative from German Technical Cooperation (GIZ) – local office in Shtip. On this meeting, Ms. Marjana Shushlevska, National Team Leader informed the representatives of the Municipalities, Ministries and institutions with the main goal and objectives of the Programme, method for Programme implementation and coordination, what are the main benefits from this Programme especially for Bregalnica Region, respectively East Planning Region and how different stakeholders will be included in Programme. On the other side representatives from the different stakeholders showed their gratitude for realization of such Programme in Macedonia whose main goal is protection of biodiversity and nature ecosystems in Macedonia through sustainable management and usage.
