Honey East is one of three national winners of philanthropy for green ideas competition

The core group of beekeepers from the Bregalnica Region Honey East from Kocani, supported by the Nature Conservation Programme in North Macedonia, is one of the three national winners at the competition Philanthropy for Green Ideas, organised by the association for social innovations ARNO.

The association competed with the innovated business idea “Friends of the Bees”, which promotes the production of safe and good quality bee products through the application of innovative sustainable practices that would have a positive impact on conservation of biodiversity and natural resources in the Eastern region.

The three green business idea selected by a seven-member jury, comprised of experts in various fields, will continue to compete at a regional level. We wish them luck and success in this next phase!
