Summary of Forestry Master Plans for the Municipalities of Berovo and Pehchevo

As part of the Nature Conservation Programme, the Faculty of Forestry in Skopje will begin with the drafting of a “Summary of Forestry Master Plans for the Municipalities of Berovo and Pehchevo”. This Summary will be the basis for getting a real picture and assessment of the current state of the forests, their basic bioecological characteristics, structure and methods of current management. Furthermore, it should produce specific suggestions and recommendations for future forest management and economy. The Summary will include four types of cartographic representation of the area: vegetation map, forest map, forest infrastructure and communication map.
